quiet and peaceful.

Found it a great place to stay. The chinese restaraunt serves lovely meals. Staff very helpful. Being a non smoking hotel was a great benefit.

Dirty room

Lousy. One of the worst place to stay, even for a night. Room was so dirty, dusty. Bathroom not clean. Coffee cup stained from previous usage.

good hotel for the price

It was pretty good overall. Daily cleaning, sheets, towels were very clean and tidy. Wi-fi is just ok, i can say it was stable but definitely slow, even for video chat. Cafeteria ladies were super nice and helpful, there wasn't many breakfast choice but i think they're good. My room looked bit old and smell damply but cleanliness and tidiness saved it. Location wise, i wouldn't say it is in the centre of georgetown, walking to old town would take half an hour at least or can take a bus. Nice area though, modern side of the town, also close to china town, lots of nice restaurants about 10 minutes of walking distance.

Good Value for money

The whole hotel has been retrofitted and refurbished.....new beds, mattress and brand new bathroom. Nice residential neighbourhood and easy to get a cab during the day. Helpful and friendly staff. Free wifi too.

Great stay.

Comfortable bed with quiet air con and clean environment. Only two choice for breakfast and there's nothing else to eat around the area. Food is decent if not fussy. Have to take Uber or Grab where ever I want to go. It was a decent place for the amount I pay. Not for luxury seeker though. Will stay there again.

Near the city center

Easy to go here and there since the location is in the middle of the city. Plus,the sureounding is safe due to lot of houses nearby.

Only one word I can say 'SATISFIED'

On the last February, I have booked other hotel at another site. Before arrival date in two days, the site have cancelled my booking due to my credit card could not be charged. I was very upset. After that , I try to search hotel in hotels.com site to book another hotel. Finally I find hotel that under my budget and the review was very good. Before arriving, various matters in my mind think about this hotel. Upon arrival, from receptionist place until enter room, everything is very satisfied. Room that is so comfortable, air conditioner like clockwork and toilet also clean. Wifi was very fast. This hotel also very close to food area especially Nasi Kandar. You only need to use GPS only LOL. I'm a Muslim. Only two matters only I want the comment this hotel is breakfast and Kiblat. Cafe located in this hotel not stated halal sign and I understand it unsuitable to Muslims. Direction on the other hand I merely using application to indicating Kiblat. So if there is friends Islamic that wish to take a holiday in Penang can tailored in this hotel, no doubt. Overall I and very satisfied husband stay in this hotel to 3d2n as I in Penang.
