Although it can be difficult bringing up my luggage by walking up a narrow staircase, once up there, I enjoyed the cool breeze from the veranda outside of my hotel room. The beer was cold and the air conditioning in my room was nice and cold as well. The staff were welcoming as well as the local customers. I would try this venue again.

Rocked up after a 2&1/2 hour drive to find friendly and helpful enough staff to navigate me to my room when I got there room was clean but no towels, no big bed as in the picture and definitely no mention of a 2am gaming room below the accommodation. Hence no sleep for me until after 2am! Definitely won’t be booking another night there anytime soon

La chambre était très correcte, la literie impeccable, les toilettes et la salle de bain très propres. Le seul point négatif est le bruit dû à l'emplacement de l'hôtel (au dessus d'un pub et dans une rue avec du passage). Cela ne nous a pas empêché de dormir mais nous avons été réveillés plusieurs fois par le bruit.

Convenient & comfortable however a little noisy
Good for a one night stay on the way through. Friendly staff and nicely furnished and renovated. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Noise from the games room underneath as well as the train tracks can be found disturbing if a light sleeper though.

Lovely old lady
Clean and convenient. Old hotel with updated rooms. Be aware there is steep stairs to climb, to go to rooms. Great view from upstairs verandah.

The room once booked turned out to be a single though the image showed a double. Little more than a broom closet. Doof music continued until the wee hours and my car was vandalised in the car park. Rear view mirror smashed deliberately (could see the hand prints). Don’t stay here unless you come from Gatton. Outsiders not welcome.

Great pub
Staying in pubs like the Royal Hotel Gatton can be a bit of a lottery but this was terrific. Early check in was not a problem. They were very welcoming and happy to assist with anything. Recommend it to anyone.

Hotel Royal Gatton
Business accommodation. The room was spacious. There is a kitchen on the same level with an ironing board. The showers and toilets are in specific areas and not the rooms them selves but that's OK. The local IGA is right next door. Parking is readily available. There is a rail line across the road form the hotel but it isn't noisy. There was no noise form the bars so a quiet, pleasant place to stay.

Hotel close to town facilities
Room ready on arrival and check in no fuss with run a down of activities including warning that a DJ band operated Friday & Sat nights until 2am. I was in room 5 and did not suffer any undue discomfort. The kitchen operated for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The tucker was very good and presented very well and in a timely manner. The prices were extremely affordable. The layout of dining room, bars and Gaming facilities are very well thought out and furnished in an appealing fashion. Upstairs is furnished with minimal things but a comfortable bed provided also extremely clean bathrooms a short distance away on the same floor. Tea and coffee room provided, with clothes ironing provision available. The Staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great Pub to spend a few nights at affordable prices.
