"We enjoyed a nights stay after a busy day at the highland show, the pool, sauna and

were an excellent way to relax after a busy day. An excellent well run hotel with attentive and helpful staff, breakfast was a well stocked and tasty buffet. Room was comfortable and tidy, perfect for a family stay. Would highly recommend the Peebles Hydro to anyone. "

"Nice looking hotel in a great area. Eautiful farm country surrounding you. Nice pool. Very friendly check in person. My two complaints were the bed is a very stiff uncomfortable matress and (yes im American) the room was very warm. The window opened but it was still too warm for me to sleep even with the tiny fan provided. Not worth the $$"

"We spent 4 lovely nights at this hotel with a wonderful group of staff in every area including the big sister Hydro hotel up the hill nearby. We ate in the bar one evening having delicious soup starters and burgers with drinks for a reasonable £50 . The breakfast was buffet style with served hot full Scottish or vegetarian equivalent. Both were great quality and cooked to perfection. There is an inhouse bakery, which we had to sample, and the cakes were delicious. We saw amazing looking sausage...

"Staff made us very welcome. Hotel very clean. Situated central to shops restaurants buses and walking areas. Parking area to the back. If stayed again though would ask for another room as we were in basement with no view. "

"It was our Ruby Wedding Anniversary on our wedding day we spent our first night as a married couple in the Cringletie Hotel and we were upgraded to a fabulous suite it was amazing with a wonderful jacuzzi bath. Will definitely return again "

"We were always happy to return at night to this comfortable, homely and spacious lodge. Loved the light that greeted us in the morning from the skylights and large sliding glass doors leading to both the front and back porches. Very private and quiet surroundings led to a good night’s sleep each night."
