The rating on this property is deceitful. People live here, do drugs here, has gang affiliation, has roach infestation and no smoke alarms. The windows in the restroom do not close and someone could break into the property. Not a place for children or people with health conditions. The entire place was dirty, blankets didn’t look clean, the carpet was completely dirty and the place smelled like a smoke house

Rooms were hot . Ac was like a swamp cooler. Room was kinda clean . But my husband and I got bit by mosquitoes all night . Construction made it even hard to go around

Lamp Liter Inn: More Like Lamp Melter Inn (Unless You're a Lizard) Let me start by saying, I booked this room at the Lamp Liter Inn to escape a Visalia heatwave after a power outage on, no joke, the hottest day of the year. Let's just say, I felt more like a rotisserie chicken on a spit roast than a guest. The air conditioner? More like a gentle breeze machine. Barely a whisper against the inferno outside. And the ceiling fan? Well, that was about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Completely motionless, just mocking my sweat-drenched misery. To top it all off, the friendly folks at the front desk informed me (after a frantic call, mind you) that they were having some "AC troubles." You think mentioning that little tidbit at check-in might have been helpful? Now, moving on to the bathroom. The sink had more cracks than the Liberty Bell, and the shower pressure was about as strong as a weeping willow. But hey, at least the water temperature kept things interesting! One minute you're screaming like you're in a volcano, the next you're shivering like a penguin on a vacation to Antarctica. Look, the staff was nice, but this place needs a serious TLC shower (and maybe a new AC unit while they're at it). If you're cold-blooded and enjoy a good impromptu sauna session, this might be your paradise. Otherwise, maybe consider bringing a fan, a wetsuit, and a good sense of humor.
