"Didn't get the room I reserved (2 months ago), which was 2 double beds. Instead gave me a king (for 2 adults and a child). What's the point of a reservation if they're just going to give my room away? Easter weekend, hotel full of young teenage girls, who instead of acting like young ladies, were running up and down the hallways like 6 year old boys, and throwing ice at each other until I had to call security."

"Quick summary is that the facilities are clean, comfortable, conveinient, and cost effective. However, I will elaborate further. I arrived late, or better to say earlier, and still was able to easily check in. The staff is very courteous. Mostly, I just wanted to sleep and shower and despite being in the shared space, both of those were easily accomplished and quite comforable. As far as I know, there is no breakfast offered. There is a coffee place connected, but I would prefer terrible burnt coffee if it were offered for free. Other hostels under this same brand offer complimentary breakfast in a shared space. The four bunk room that I used did have an adjoining shared sitting area and kitchen. I image that if I was staying longer I would have made good use of this. There was also provided a calendar of community activited hosted by the hostel. I would have liked to try these, but it did not work with me schedule on this perticular weekend. I think this would be a good place to stay at while learning about Chicago. The location is right in the center of everything. If I were planning my trip again, I would have booked a couple extra days just to relax, but that is my preference. You can successfully stay one night and get a good nights sleep and a shower and then immediately move on. "

"Literally one complaint and it’s that there was no fridge in our room. Maybe we could have asked for one but we didn’t so that’s on us. Staff were awesome and very friendly. Great location. "
