"Best cottage we've stayed so far. Clean and very well stocked with anything you might desire. Superfast internet, Netflix included, beautiful area and dog proofed patio to let the hounds smell fresh air without escaping.Comfortable bed, cozy bathroom. The building was to be lived in permanently and that shows in each and every part.The hosts are incredibly welcoming and we had some sparkling with scones and freshly baked bread waiting upon arrival."

"We just had a wonderful stay at the School Room, really spacious, extremely clean, everything you could need you will find here from the kitchen to the lounge, games, books, magazines, local attractions, places to eat, super comfortable bed, well thought out. There is a local little shop and pub serving food where the locals make you feel so welcome all a short walk, lovely garden to sit and enjoy exclusively. Would highly recommend this property."

The Funky Pigsty-An adventure pet friendly paradise, Situated in the Wye Valley!

10/10 Excellent

"Really nice little studio with excellent location for Forest of Dean hiking — only a few minutes to the middle of the woods and you can forget all about noisy roads and cars. Kitchen was well stocked with a little grill, air fryer, microwave etc all working great. The location is a bit far from the center of Coleford but there’s a nearby shop with grocery basics and long hours. Highly recommend if you would prefer a quieter location with good proximity to day hikes. Paul always messaged back quickly and though we did not meet I felt well taken care of."

"Got a really good price on a room with a gym on site. There was decent parking available and I got parked up near the entrance. I had a room on the ground floor which was close to the gym as well as the entrance. The room was pretty standard but what was required for me. I got shown to the gym which had new equipment and had plenty to choose from. I was then told it was an extra £5 to use it which would have been nice to know as part of booking the stay. I had a great workout at the gym then went out for an evening meal. A good night's sleep was followed by a breakfast buffet at the clubhouse which was decent. It may have not been the greatest accommodation experience but it did represent tremendous value for money and I would look to stay here again based on that."

"We had a one night stay at Saracens Head, had private parking bay immediately outside and river view room. The room was very clean very nice en-suite and had ample wardrobe and drawer spaces. Evening meal in the restaurant was first class with varied menu. Breakfast was all freshly cooked nothing from self serve, very good. I have never been to a pub or hotel with so many good and polite staff, all so friendly and responsive. We will definitely be going again. The walks along the river and up to viewpoint are amazing."
