"Nice Budget resort. I found out later that the resort is part of part of the senator hotel umbrella and is right next to the playa bachata resort. If I would have known I might alhave stayed there instead. The views are nicer, the property is better maintained there. Nevertheless, I had a good time at playabachata especially for the price, which was about nearly half the price the senator hotel for the days I booked.The service was good, but the activities could be better and scheduling for things like the optional restaurant reservations could be better. There was however a buffet available 3 times a fay with a nice selection of food."

"We enjoyed our stay. The view from the room was amazing and the beach was very nice. However, we did not receive or were unsure how to utilize many of the amenities that we purchased with the premium package. The mini frig in our room was not working when we arrived and was leaking water. Staff responded quickly when we reported it but it took our entire stay for it to get cold so we did not have access to cold drinks in the room. The bathroom was not clean and still had urine all over the toilet from the previous guest."

"Estuve visitando el hotel por primera vez y me llevé una mala experiencia a lo que es el servicio de comida en los buffet. Una comida desagradable y nunca había disponibilidad para reservar en otros restaurantes. En verdad deberían prestar más atención a la comida de los buffet, ya que es difícil encontrar disponibilidad para los demás restaurantes, al menos llevar una buena experiencia de los buffet."

"This property was really pretty and the staff were all so nice and most spoke well in English. The pools were beautiful with the mountain as a backdrop and we spent lots of time in the game room playing pool and ping pong. Everything looks new and tastefully designed with some new amenities coming soon (I think someone said tennis courts?) but the work was being done with hand tools and never intruded on the peacefulness of our quiet vacation. The private beach was so quiet with chairs and umbrellas and cold beers available. It is about a 2 min golf cart ride to the beach but someone is always ready to bring you there with a smile and recommend one of the amazing beachfront restaurants (we were treated like royalty!) On Saturday night they played fun, upbeat music by the pool. It’s the best time to visit the rooftop pool if you are prone to burning in the daytime. Thanks to all for making our getaway so enjoyable!!"
