We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. Everything was amazing from the moment we arrived. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcomed the entire time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the property was well maintained. The food was very good with plenty of options, and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere. It was also a great place for families and felt very kid-friendly. The service, food, and experience made our trip relaxing and memorable. We would definitely come back and recommend this resort to other travelers.

I liked the fact that we were right on the beach. The room was clean but it had an old smell to it. Housekeeping was excellent! The food was good. Overall I enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff always assisted as needed and was pleasant. I do not drink alcohol so, I did not partake in the Bar.

The beach was very nice and clean. The only downfall is thete is not a lot of shade,so if want shade you should get to the beach early. The snack bar was always fully stocked limited meat choices?,hamburger hot dogs but good salad bar and always some kind of dessert.

This is just an average hotel, most of the guests are local with no manners. Additionally, the staff are not trained properly and the customer services is not good. The food in the buffet was ok, the Mexican and Italian restaurants were really good. I will never stay here again, just my preference.

We had a wonderful stay at Emotions by Hodelpa in Puerto Plata. The resort is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is warm and welcoming. The beach was excellent—soft sand, clear water, and plenty of seating. The pools were also great, especially the swim-up bar and activity pool with music and entertainment. The food was very good overall. The buffet offered fresh options, and we especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant, which we visited multiple times. The Dominican restaurant was good, while the Mexican was our least favorite. The coffee shop and beach bar were highlights, and the fried chicken at the beach bar was outstanding. The wine-and-cheese bar was perfect for a quiet, romantic evening. Our room was spacious and clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job daily. The swim-up room upgrade is worth it. Guest services were also excellent—Celine was very helpful throughout our stay. The one major drawback was aggressive sales pressure from Frank and Juan, who repeatedly approached us multiple times a day to sell resort vacation packages, even after we said no and expressed that we were feeling harassed. This felt very intrusive and impacted our experience. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and felt it was a good value, but the sales pressure was a significant negative.

This place is an absolute gem for a romantic Valentine’s Day celebration! One of the employees, Amaury, organized a breathtaking beachside dinner that made my night unforgettable. The ambiance was enchanting, with live music and delectable cuisine. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. They also have a charming bar called Milwaukee, where we met a lovely girl named Deilennys (I think that was her name). Her warm and welcoming nature made everyone feel at ease. We often found ourselves spending our evenings at the bar with her during our stays at the hotel. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic getaway. My stay at the hotel was also fantastic, and I’m already planning my next visit.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations. When we arrived, the room was not properly cleaned. We found hair in the bathroom, which gave us a poor first impression. During our stay, there was also a water leak in our room for two days, leaving water all over the floor. We reported the issue to the front desk, but no one came to fix it, and we never received the extra towels we requested to deal with the situation. The buffet food was good, but it definitely needs more variety. The menu was almost the same every day, which became repetitive during our stay. One of the highlights of the resort was the staff. Several employees provided excellent customer service and were always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. Their kindness made our experience better. However, the pool bar was closed throughout our stay. Since it is the only bar serving the main pool, guests had to get out of the water and walk to another bar for drinks, which was inconvenient. I hope the resort addresses this because it has a noticeable impact on the guest experience. The entertainment also needs significant improvement. The daytime activities were limited, the evening shows were not very engaging, and the nightclub lacked energy and atmosphere. Overall, the resort has great potential, but it needs better room maintenance, quicker responses to guest concerns, more variety at the buffet, and stronger entertainment to provide the experience guests expect.
