"Cody and the crew are rockstars. Everyone on staff was more than happy to help with any questions or needs that came up for my wife and I. The grounds are very nice as well. The room itself was just fine for us. We found it plenty clean and comfortable. We’re pretty low maintenance so if you’d need more than a warm room, a bed, a tv, and a hot shower, this might not be the place for you. There’s some good eats in walking distance (we went to Margaritas and the Burger Lounge) along with a 7/11...

"Came to stay at the Black Bear Lodge for my birthday. Jenn at the service desk was the sweetest. The lodge was lovely with a complementary self-serve hot cocoa station. Parking was very convenient. Heavenly Village was only about a 5-6 minute drive. Would love to book here again!!"

"I had a good stay at Trave Inn in South Lake Tahoe. The room was very clean and everything worked well. The location is convenient and close to the lake as well as the ski hill. Staff was friendly and took time to explain everything. It was nice to have someone at the office to check me in, vs being texted a door code like they do at some economy hotels. I’d stay again! "The room was spotless, it looked newly renovated and very nice looking clean decor. It was nicely heated and lights on to receive guests at night. The access code to the room worked perfect. It was quiet and in a great location to Heavenly. The coffee maker, refridge, microwave and TV were nice to have and easy to use. Parking is included and easy. It was very spacious. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others."

"We upgradedo a suit and loved it. used the cloths dryer. took advantage to using shuttle bus to ski locations. delightful early bar use. had breakfast at Red Hut restaurant across the street, good food. around MMarina, loved the Argentinian empanada place, yummy!!! "
