Holiday home 'Klein Wimmenum' in Egmond aan den Hoef, with in spring the flower fields above, the nature reserve* and close to the sea/beach in Egmond aan Zee.the holiday home is situated in a quiet area, on the outskirts of the cosy village of Egmond aan den Hoef.access to the North Holland Dune Reserve is almost on the doorstep. The distance to the sea and the wide sandy beach of Egmond aan den Hoef is *3 km, and is also accessible by bike/car and on foot.*10 minutes walk from the holiday home to the centre of Egmond aan den Hoef and *20 minutes walk to the centre of Egmond aan Zee, with shops and coffee terraces.

On the sunny side there is a terrace with garden furniture. The terrace is screened, with access both from the living room and through a side entrance. You can park your car at the house and take your bicycles with you.

Completely modern furnished holiday home with central heating, consisting of entrance hall, bathroom, living room with kitchen, one bedroom and private terrace with garden furniture. The holiday home is equipped for 2 persons and all rooms are on the ground floor, the living room has a cosy sitting area and a dining area. A cupboard where you will find glasses, games and information material about the Egmonden and the surrounding area. An LCD flat screen TV, cable TV is available and WIFI / WLAN can be used free of charge! A gas boiler provides hot water and the holiday home has central heating and the kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, bread/toaster and blender and there is a double bedroom with 2 box spring beds. Both beds have dimensions of 80x200cm. The beds are equipped with duvets and pillows, without bed linen. You can bring your own bed linen and towels or get them from us for a fee. The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, shower and toilet and washing machine.

The municipality of Bergen consists of 6 villages, Egmond aan Zee, Egmond aan de Hoef, Egmond Binnen, Bergen, Schoorl and Groet. Egmond aan Zee is the best known village of the Egmonden and originated as a fishing village, but has been important for tourism since the beginning of the last century. These aspects are still clearly recognisable in the streetscape. Jan van Speyk's lighthouse is an unmistakable landmark on the boulevard, and in summer there are numerous pavilions and opportunities for sailing and surfing on the wide beach, where you will find all kinds of entertainment in Egmond aan Zee. Café terraces, restaurants, sports facilities and shops - in short, there is something for everyone. Its old village character makes Egmond aan Zee a cosy family seaside resort and where the built-up area ends, the nature reserve begins. The varied dune area offers countless possibilities: In Egmond aan den Hoef, the flower bulb fields at the beginning of spring between the end of March and mid-May, the Alkmaar Cheese Market (Fridays), Egmond Museum.
