Delta Hotels by Marriott York

8/10 Good
"Room clean and house keeping staff and reception very pleasant Just a shame about having to pay £7 a day for hotel private parking and it’s not even in the town centre it’s about a 12 minute ride on the bus to the town centre Besides this a very nice hotel"

The Yorkshire

10/10 Excellent
"Very professional and helpful staff on arrival and room ready early. Room was spacious clean and plenty of pillows etc if required. The cleaning staff couldn't do enough for us,we asked and it was done straight away, extremely helpful and Breakfast was top notch ?? A vast selection of hot and cold food? even for the very fussy. As my wife is disabled,we arranged a parking space prior to arrival. Everything was like a dream, when we arrived a space was ready for us, room was ready to and the check in staff was brilliant."

"Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! From Start to finish - staff A1 = couldn’t do more for you. Our room was aptly named king Deluxe, oh my gosh was it! Hotel was the perfect place to explore York from. We even received a complementary drink for our anniversary. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on the food but the whole experience did not disappoint. A wedding anniversary not to be forgotten. Thank you."

Hilton York

Hilton York

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is fabulous. The room was really nice although some work was being carried out on the roof by our window, they were not working when we were there. The staff are absolutely first class and can’t do enough for you. The hotel is well located for all of the sites. One down side is the parking. York is really expensive for overnight parking. However, I was able to find street parking not too far from the hotel, but do not let this put you off. We will definitely go back here."

The George Hotel Easingwold

The George Hotel Easingwold

8/10 Good
"One night stay at this busy hotel. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and were suprised how busy it was. A word of advice - if your room overlooks the rear of the hotel you can expect to hear loud noise from the kirchen extractor unit which runs from 7am to 10pm and if you're tired and want to slepp or have children beware"

A guest who chooses a historic hotel has a chance to stay in a building officially recognised with a historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world have had many former lives and uses, such as palaces, castles, stately homes or even lodges, pubs or skyscrapers — any building that's been identified as being of special interest.
