"This hotel has a fabulous location and is surprisingly quiet. Nikolina runs this hotel with pride and love. We took her up on her offer for an airport pickup (the rate is very fair). Her husband picked us up, brought us to the gate, and her daughter Marta escorted us from the gate to the hotel. If you have not visited Dubrovnik before, definitely use the airport pickup. You’ll be hard pressed to locate the hotel, all the while schlepping your bags. It was a lovely stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Roko house. Very convenient location in Old Town Dubrovnik- near the Pile gate and near everything. The walk from the Pile gate to Roko house is not bad, the only stairs you’ll encounter is inside the apartment building.You get 20% off if you eat at their restaurant downstairs and the food and staff were amazing. Ljerka is helpful and accommodating, she gave us tips on where to eat and how to get around. No daily housekeeping but they provided us with clean towels everyday. The rooms are small but as expected as it’s inside old town but beware if you have large suitcases as you’ll have to move things around inside the room and be creative with the luggage’s. Room is clean, ac in good working condition and high water pressure. Highly recommend if staying in old town! Thank you Ljerka and Christine! "

"Staying at this beautiful and historic Hotel was like stepping into a wonderful dream. Its location on a side street in the Old Town is perfect for exploring this fascinating City on foot. A dinner at the Hotel's rooftop restaurant at dusk was truly magical, wirh excellent food and wine, and an amazing view as dozens of alpine swifts darted through the air. Each person at the front desk provided very useful information regarding my stay, answered my logistics and other questions thoughtfully and even assisted with a fast and very reasonably priced in-house laundry service, invaluable on a long trip. My room was extremely comfortable and immaculate and had a small balcony. This Hotel is a treasure in every respect."
