"This was a great place for my family of 4. We had a very big room with two large beds and a cute little balcony. Great location with tons of public transportation nearby. We were a little concerned about the shared bathroom but it was very nicely organized with one bathroom for 5 rooms. We had no issues there and if our bathroom was bus (which happened maybe twice) we could use the bathroom of the section nearby. The bathroom was very clean and the water was hot. "Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is pretty good. Public spaces were nice. Was given a room opposite the elevator and could hear noisy conversations as people gathered here. Borrowed an iron which was faulty and didn’t work. Breakfast was poor for the price paid. "

I cannot say enough positive things about this beautiful hotel. This gem above the city of Zurich is a tranquil retreat surrounded by lush forest. The spa and restaurants are amazing! I highly recommend the Dolder and hope to stay here again sometime."
