Great place!

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, fantastic food and very relaxing experience. My only complaint is that the LED lights always glow when you switch the lights off, so there should be a master switch or a light cover on the lights.

I was a bit nervous that our unit was right next to the road, but it ended up being just fine. Nice room, super friendly staff, lovely spa, big bed. This was a last minute booking and it was better than I expected. My only advice would be to upgrade the TV system. Would be happy to stay again.

The owners of this motel were extremely friendly and helpful. The unit was clean, quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the CBD.

Beautiful lake front property with excellent amentities and little extra's - complimentary bike hire, mineral pool on your deck, lovely bathroom amenities and coffee!!

We checked in after hours to the property, which was easy and stress free. We were also ecstatic when we saw the room. It was very spacious, clean and the heat pump had been left on to make the room toasty warm for our arrival. Additionally they had gone the extra mile to provide a map to our room and info on how to connect to the wifi in an envelope which I really appreciated. I especially loved being greeted outside the reception late at night when we arrived by the big ginger cat who was...

Clean, modern and safe!

Great place, very clean, well located and friendly staff. No hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

The owners are lovely people. The room was the cleanest room we ever stayed at. There are no common walls between the suits so pretty quiet. Parking is right in front of the room which makes it taking things in and out of the car easy. Beds were comfortable and each bed had an electric blanket. Aircon took only 2 minutes to warm up the room. The only downside was having only one sink between the toilet, shower and kitchen. The same sink is used for washing hands, brushing teeth and washing...

Perfect space for down time, alone time or just a nice get away. Was a comfy feeling from the second you arrive, was clean & relaxing. Thank you so much for the amazing get away.

Good value for money, just a short drive to the main shopping area.

Everything was immaculate, the staff were LOVELY, we needed to arrive late, the key was left where it was easily accessible, the light was on in our room, the two pools are stunning! We are hot pool people. Absolutely stunning. We stayed on the way down to Wellington, loved it so much we stayed on the way back up to Auckland. There are a LOT of choices in Taupo and this would be our pick, everytime.
