We had a really fabulous time and wished we could stay for longer! The room was very spacious and in-room onsen was top notch. We truly appreciated the generosity of the minibar, and the personal touches like packing the snacks for us to takeaway and gifting us an anniversary photo really made the difference. The food was very high quality and nothing much to fault (only thing which we would have liked was to have complimentary table water included). Moving on to the service, every staff was...

Shangri-La Far Eastern, Taipei

Daan

10/10 Excellent

Well services 5star hotel. No complaints on anything. Absolutely happy overall. However some minor things, 1. TV unit was not equipped with Google Chromecast(later staff confirmed it can be provided)2. Swimming pool on top is deeper on one side with 1.9mtrs(higher than average man height) mainly suitable for professional swimmers. Adjacent 1/3 area is 1.3mtr deep, however lifeguard on duty always.

HOSHINOYA Guguan

10/10 Excellent

A beautiful and peaceful stay. From the drivers who picked us up and dropped use back to Taichung. To every single staff member at hoshinoya that we encountered all were courteous and super helpful. The room and amenities were great and the garden was our favourite thing, from the deck outside the library especially in the evening watching the birds was so relaxing. What a lovely place to spend some quiet time to relax.
