"Driftwood Beachhouse is perfectly located to enjoy fresh air, birdsong and peace and quiet. Jez was a great host, really friendly and accommodating, giving us helpful local advice and getting the hot tub ready each evening. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms and outside spaces are really charming, decorated with character and you feel at home. Highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed our stay and it was very reasonably priced for a Saturday night. However, there was red stains all over the carpet in the room and there was one pillow that stank of cigarettes, which is obviously disgusting. We slept ok though and it was quiet."

"Hidden gem is just that a hidden gem, it's location is easily walkable to the shops, restaurants, pub, the beach and much more. It's quiet enough with maybe a little noise from passing traffic, it's compact but comes with enough space for what you need and I couldn't have asked for a better host, communication was brilliant and she was happy to help with any issues I may have had. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near the seaside."
