"Because of its location on Marjan Hill, it can be a little difficult to find without GPS. We left our car parked and walked up and down to the Riva. If you aren't in reasonably good shape, you might find this to be a problem. But, once you get there, you will find a marvelous hotel. Clean, well run, wonderful staff, good bar, nice swimming pool (and I'm not much for swimming). The breakfast buffet is good and you can tell they take pride in their work. The layout of the hotel is a bit quirky in a fun kind of way and you might wonder how you can get so lost in such a small place (but that was part of the fun.) For independent travelers, this is a real find and, the next time I head to Split, I would definitely check their availability."
