We just loved it at Tamanu! We had spent 3 nights prior at the Warwick Le Lagon, and would say that Tamanu was substantially better. From the moment we first walked in to the moment we left, everything was taken care of for us by the wonderful and attentive staff. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable with wonderful views, sea breeze and air con. Our room (unit 4) was absolute beach front and a 30 second walk to the restaurant and beach. The menu is modern that highlights the produce in the...

Loved everything about our stay! We only had five nights. Wish it had been more. Anne, Petter and staff were so welcoming and the care and small touches make it a special place. I did my PADI recertification while I was there. So pleased to be back diving again. If you want wonderful snorkelling straight off the beach, home-cooked meals using fresh local produce, an intimate setting, clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation and a chance to experience the real Vanuatu this is the place for...

My family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at Erakor Island for 8 nights in January 2023. The resort is on its own island, which is a 5 minute free ferry ride from the jetty in Efate, which itself is about a 15 minute bus ride from the centre of Port Vila. The island is stunningly beautiful, with crystal blue waters surrounding the coconut and palm jungle. The resort is very low scale and laid back - accommodation is in a series of detached buildings scattered around the island, with shared...

This was our first holiday in Vanuatu so was unsure what to expect. Before we left Brisbane, Bessie the Manager from Fatumaru Lodge had emailed to enquire about transfers from the airport to the accommodation - this was the beginning of our wonderful stay, we already felt welcomed and catered for. We were cheerfully and warmly greeted by all of the staff on arrival and shown directly to our beachside apartment, when we opened the French doors to the view it was breathtaking. It was great having...

I loved my stay at The Moso.. the setting is beautiful, and all the staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. The food was great, and it was lovely chatting to the other guests. I would also highly recommend a walk to Embas beach for a lovely secluded swim!

We stayed here before moving onto a resort, however Pacific Lagoon Apartments was half the cost of the resort and my family agrees we liked it better. The reasons we liked it was everything was there, you can kayak across the lagoon to an expensive resort and hang out there for the day, snorkel in the lagoon, catch a ride into town with a local cheaply.

had a wonderful 6 nights at Nasama Resort. The room was more than adequate for the two of us as well as our two children. The children loved collecting shells and coral off the beach every morning, and had a great time in the kids pool. The added kitchen was a bonus, we got fruit and vegetables every second day at the market in town so no need to go out and spend money on breakfast and lunch. The staff were wonderful with us and especially the children. The snorkeling off the reef was great, our...

Super attentive and friendly and great location. They even drove a forgotten piece of clothing to us at the airport… amazing!!

I stayed at Breakas with my partner for 5 lovely nights which unfortunately came to an end but we left knowing that we'll definitely be back. On arrival we were impressed to be greeted with a drink and locally made shell necklace before being shown to our beachfront Fare. We were in Fare 5 which was right next to the restaurant so had some trepidation that we may be kept awake by noisy diners but that wasn't a problem at all. As Breakas doesn't allow kids we found that everyone was there for...

The Mangoes resort exceeded our expectations for our 5 night stay in Port Vila. The grounds were lovely, the bungalows very well kept, the views were amazing, and the staff were always very helpful. The dining was very good quality and at a reasonable price. Mangoes is situated far enough away from the loud and busy main town centre to be quiet at night, yet close enough to walk easily to shops and other restaurants. All the bus drivers know the resort and because it's still in the township of...

We stayed in the 2 bedroom beachfront unit in March 2017. Unit is right on beach in a quiet location. Your view looks out over Mele Bay and Hideaway Island. There is a Café/ bar poolside and the ladies their serve excellent cocktails! Also a beach bar restaurant just 1 minute walk down the beach from apartment that has an amazing Fire Show every Friday night! The staff at Vanuatu Beachfront Apartments are very good at helping organise any day trips you might want to do. Highly recommend the zip...

Enjoyed our stay. The most modern hotel in Vila. Great opening specials.

My partner and I stayed at Cocomo from the 2nd to the 8th of November and couldn't be happier with our stay. For starters, we were upgraded to the waterfront villa due to small construction taking place at the pool deck. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and always happy to field any questions we had. The restaurant was also a major hit as my coeliac / gluten free girlfriend was well looked after by the chef. The manager felix was great with helping me book all our tours...

Just got back from a 5 night stay for our honeymoon. Couldn't fault our visit. The grounds and room were immaculate. Staff were amazing. Special mention to John Paul who looked after us so well. Highly recommend the day spa and the beach side massages. Try out the pizzas by the pool - divine. Intend on coming back next time with the kids!

We had a fantastic stay at this resort and we were very happy.Sorry to have a complaint as all the staff at the resort were amazing however, when we had checked out at reception we were waiting around at the reception area as we were quite early to be leaving the resort for the airport. We decided to have one last drink before taking a taxi from the resort car park just 30 meters away, after about 20 or so minutes a local bus arrived to drop a guest off and I was able to ask him if he would take...

Poppy's was an excellent choice for a long (8 night) stay in Port Vila. It was perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main street, yet still an easy 10 or so minute walk away. With complimentary kayaks and snorkelling gear for use in the lagoon it was on. The staff were also extremely attentive and lovely, and always greeted you with a smile and asked about your day. The resort also thought of all the little details to make a stay enjoyable - reef shoes, pool towels, umbrellas...

We stayed here for 8 nights and found it to be very clean with friendly and helpful staff, It is only 5 minutes walk to town with some rooms overlooking the harbour, so you can watch the cruise ships come and go. The breakfast is basic but satisfying. The pool is huge and a perfect temperature. The rooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable. We had an aircon room which made things a bit more comfortable at night. Most people staying there seemed to be business people which meant a lack...

As a couple who have spent most of their lives travelling for both work and pleasure, we know a great hotel when we see one. Great staff providing great service - well above and beyond - particularly Monith Kumar on the night of the storm. Beach bar close - great Thai restaurant just up the hill and a very relaxed feel. Loved the rooftop kitchen/bar which provides a view that is unsurpassed. Monith’s curries cannot be missed….To quote a very famous actor…. “We will be Back!”

Really enjoyed our stay here. Super close to town, so walking to tourist shopping or grocery shopping is only minutes away. Great views over the Water Front to Iririki Island. Self contained accommodation with separate bedrooms was great and had everything required to look after yourself if that's what you want. Staff were friendly and helpful.
