AC residence isn't what you expect from your normal hotel stay. There is no hotel lobby, there is no reception as it's located on the third floor of shophouses. However don't let it fool you! Our stay was specifically to accompany our mom for hospital surgery, which is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The room was spacious and spotless. Many thoughtful amenities were provided, including good Wi-Fi and a large TV, and we especially loved the capsule coffee machine. The service was excellent, with friendly and very helpful staff. This was our second stay at this hotel, and everything was perfect.

Located a ten minute walk across the river from the main town, the hotel is positioned within a new shopping precinct. Supermarkets and a good variety of places to eat are located close by. The hotel was brand new when we stayed so we were able to take advantage of 'soft opening' budget room rates for a mid range hotel. Very comfortable and clean. Staff exceptionally friendly but they were not familiar with train timetables from Beaufort so check at the station before heading to the hotel for...
