Overall the stay was pleasent and the food was lovely. We had issues with maids coming into the room while do not disturb was on and not knocking or ringing the doorbell before entering. This happened on 4 occasions. One where they had entered and left a broken lamp from another room. The hotel need to work on this.

Zighy Bay absolutely delivers to Six Senses' high standards, from its impeccable accommodations to the personalized service by the staff. Despite being fully booked, we felt the attention to detail delivered by the team was superb and every other wish was executed efficiently and with a warm smile, be it a coffee refill at breakfast, an order of eggs, another drink at the bar, etc. Overall the entire team did an amazing job ensuring everything was well taken care of, from housekeeping and room...

The perfect place to be introduced to Oman after a long flight from Australia. The pool and it’s surroundings are ideal to relax and get over your jet lag. And the drive from the airport through Muscat and to the hotel gives you a glimpse into the stunning mountain scenery that awaits those who are travelling further south.
Great buffets for dinner and breakfast, and the poolside bar opens at 6.00pm.

Lovely hotel, smart and sophisticated, very comfortable, with excellent service. There is a choice of two swimming pools, and a serviced beach area. There are fishing trips and water sports available, or hire a guide to take you out exploring. This is a perfect 'Rest & Relaxation' sort of place, free transport to and from airport, easy to fly to from other cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The Mutrah Hotel is one of the friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in! The staff are exceptional and could not do enough to ensure we had a great stay. Bernard is the ring master - organising amazing tours and making sure we had everything we needed. Jassim is the hotel guide and we spent two amazing days with him travelling into the interior (Nizwah, it's souk, fort and surrounds) and down the coast to Sur (including a trip to a dhow factory, walking through Wadi Tiwi, Wadi Al Shab and the...

A two night stay on the way to Europe. Hotel is on the way from the airport to the old town in a quiet suburb. Less than five minutes walk to a beautiful beach. Also a more expensive hotel close by for drinks with a view. Safe and easy to get around as taxis are cheap and fixed price and hop on - hop off bus route.Helpful staff and in house restaurant with drinks for those who want it. I had booked the wrong nights as the 4:30am arrival confused me but the booking was changed without cost and...
