Scuba Diving & Resorts in Al Hamra from NZ$67

Absolutely stunning surrounding to stay, the hotel itself is beautiful and nothing beats the view. However the constant music playing is not ok, it starts from early morning and continues into the night. Peace and quiet is needed, not background music the whole time. Start the music from 4pm. People getaway to relax and have quiet, the music is too invasive. Hotel itself otherwise is very comfortable. The speed of service can be improved, many things took too long, but the staff are very...

Beautiful experience all the way. Nice staff, very friendly. The manager is very helpful.

We spent 2 nights here, and enjoyed our stay. The hotel looks like its best days are behind it, I'm sure a grand old dame at one point in time. Our room was very well sized and had a comfortable bed overlooking the pool. Free parking and helpful staff. Prices for dining including breakfast and dinner are exhorbitant, particularly for Oman. Hotel had everything we needed. Clean, large bed, free parking and a nice pool. Breakfast was ok too.

The hotel is a little tired and in need of a facelift but we wanted a relatively cheap but comfortable option for our one night on Al Jebel Akhdar as we were arriving close to sunset and leaving early the next morning. It was perfect for this. The food range for both dinner and breakfast is simple and very limited, and a little expensive for what is offered. But if you want a beer after a hard day of hiking then this is the place for you.
