"Had a lovely time in the cottage it was well equipped and felt like home from home. The extra room for washing/drying etc was brilliant and didn't have a problem with the walk in shower although small it was functional. my only critic but on a personal level was the beds seemed very soft. When we arrived we were not aware that the local pub was closed for refurbishment which was a shame as we wished to walk around the village rather than having to drive at night. "Couldn’t fault the service throughout the whole stay. Catered well for gluten free. Everything we ate was totally delicious. Make sure you leave room for the huge puddings. Sunday roast was fabulous "

"Used this hotel for an event near the hotel. Its overlooks the coast and a few minutes walk to town. Cant fault the staff, friendly, helpful and polite. Hotel was clean. Price was reasonable. The breakfast was really nice and the restaurant served evening meals if you wanted to eat in. Down side, yes sorry.... heating was on constantly , so windows were open all day and night as the thermostate on one of the radiators by the bed didnt work so we were unable to turn that radiator off. "We had a very comfortable stay. The bed was very restful and the water pressure for the shower was perfect. The rooms have a traditional vibe but having stayed in rooms with fancy marble bathrooms which leaked all over the place, or alternately froze or scalded you, this bathroom was a dream. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is generous and tasty. Would definitely stay again. "

"Stayed for 2 nights beginning of May in a deluxe room, allocated room 2 which is lovely, comfortable, very spacious, with four poster bed, seating area and huge bathroom with a bath and a shower. Great views from both rooms of the sea and gardens. There is a disadvantage of this as it also facing the bar terrace area so if people are quiet and respectful all good, but could be an issue if not.
