Stayed here 11 years ago with my mum and opted to stay here with hubby after our river cruise. The hotel has had a make over and looked wonderful. Our room had a lovely view over the canal. It was very comfortable and spacious. Bathroom had everything supplied. Nice hot water and good water pressure. The staff were lovely and helpful. Really enjoyed staying here, nice room, sizeable, comfortable bed, helpful staff, shuttle to town available also bikes and vespas for hire. Tried three out of four eating places, food in both excellent. Bistro staff very friendly and helpful. The grounds were outstanding, well laid out and kept. Interesting sculptures, beautiful orchard, lovely rose gardens, great to sit in and enjoy the surroundings.
