The building is old. Rooms looked old and beat up. I was disappointed. I assumed Hyatt would be in better condition.

When we arrived we pulled into the valet parking area. The staff stood at the door and just looked at us. I got out and asked if valet was available and the staff member said if you want it. Later the next morning We got stuck on the 11th floor when the elevator stopped working. Called the front desk and they said can you use the steps. The staff member said I don’t know how to fix the elevator. I had to haul 3 kids gear down to main level. When I went to check out the staff informed me that they will get the utility elevator working later in the day.

The Hotel Staff was very helpful when I arrived. I was meeting friends at another hotel & the front desk gave me a copy of walking directions!! When I was leaving I was able to leave my suitcase as I had 5 hours to roam around & have a final lunch with friends!

This was our first time at this property. And I was SO impressed! From the moment we checked in with the friendly staff, to our room being ready and available prior to check in time- The continental breakfast was amazing and the bar was a fun option to have as well! The hotel room and in general was very clean and modern.

We had a lovely time. There was a young staff at the welcome desk when we arrived that could have ruined our time there, but we didn't let them. They didn't welcome us and would not smile. Thank goodness they only worked twice on our 4 day stay. The free breakfast wasn't the best either. (Oatmeal was runny, fresh fruit was canned peaches and only wheat bread for toast). BUT the hotel, the bar (the food and drinks) and the rest of the staff was a "5". We would definitely stay here again.
