We stayed 4 nights in the 1 bedroom suite. Me wife and 12/8 year old kids.
Positives
-satellite tv
-comfortable beds
-lots if hot water
-quiet building
Negatives-
-quite loud with the freeway but you get used to it
-unusually drafty. We had asked the staff for a space heater which was never supplied. We actually turned the oven on instead as needed.
- no extra bedding or comforter . Again, unusual.
-one sink in the kitchen area made it very awkward to do dishes.
I was thoroughly surprised how clean and new this place was! Not sure why the previous reviews were not amazing. Two clean bedrooms and two bathrooms with a washer and dryer and fully loaded kitchen made our stay super convenient with two couples esp when it came to cooking breakfast and drying our mitts after a day on the ski hills. Location was a bit far from Banff but it was very quiet and for the price highly worth it. It was hard to get ahold of hosts on the phone for more supplies but hotels.com messaging replies were much more prompt. Would stay here again. Thanks!!
We took a studio size for the night, room 12. Beautifully renovated, easy access, super-comfortable bed and pillows. We loved the room, and it's gorgeous accents. Felt really clean and we looked forward to a relaxing stay. The soaps and shampoo were nice quality. There is a cute kitchenette with complimentary coffee and tea, which I didn't get to try, but they look very good. The thing was, the upstairs room was rented by the loudest parents and 2 year old. It sounded incessant and like they were doing laps in succession around the room. They went to bed sort of early but they awoke super- early and it started again.. I took video of the video to record all the noise. It was disappointing. I did call service and she was polite and tried to resolve my issue quickly, but what can you do when a 2 year old is running about, really. I understand that...it was the adults stomping around that was my peeve, but I didn't argue it. We were only staying one night this time after all. That isn't the hotel's fault, however..we barely got a wink of sleep because of the flag next door rustling and the loud fridge. When we got up, we couldn't shower because the shower curtain rod is curved outward, which makes the shower curtain useless as it's too short to keep the water in the tub. A longer shower curtain is needed. Other than that, it was warm, inviting, clean, easy to find, easy to check in to, easy check-out, comfortable and we will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Went to ski and Canmore Nordic centre and went to kanaskis spa. Great base for both. Only complaint is there is traffic noise as right off the highway but it didn’t bother us that made. There are no ammenties around so needed to go to Canmore for shopping and food. Not too far though.
Me and my girlfriend went for the weekend to do a snowboard trip. It was cute and cozy and was nice being just out of the city and close to sunshine Ski Resort
This lodge exceeded my expectations by far. The interiors are very clean and cozy. Nice rustic/modern decor. It has pretty much everything you will need for a long stay (utensils/pans/pot/etc) . It has very nice Mountain Views and a super convenient dinner/breakfast place walking distance from it.
Although they did not have a front desk/receptionist on site, they were VERY quick to resolve things remotely. So I stayed there for 3 nights and for the first couple of nights I felt a bit too cold in the unit. But I am originally from Texas so I just thought I was not very used to the cold. On the 3rd night I decided to call them and see if there was anything that could be done because I figured the heater was not working to its full potential. So I called their off site customer service and within less than 10 minutes they upgraded me to a much nicer/bigger/warmer unit and refunded me a nights worth. Had I know how efficient they would had been at resolving this, I would have called sooner.
Essentially, I was very pleased with the place and will definitely stay there again when I am back to Banff area.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
The hotel room was well decorated and clean. Plates, cups and utensils available in kitchen. However, there was no wifi available despite advertising free unlimited wifi.
Don't stay this motel. They did not provide door access code 24 hours before check-in as promised, I even reminded them 2 times. They emailed me the access code a few hours before my check-in time. And the worst stupid thing they did was: they provided an invalid door access code. Remember they don't have front desk, nor Wi-Fi, so no service, no help to you at all. This motel sits in front of a super busy highway, cargo trucks are driving through non-stop in the midnight, very noisy. Several flies in the room when I finally checked-in, bed was very uncomfortable and dirty bed sheet. The motel rule: guests need to take away all of their own trash when "check-out". With the price I paid, I could stay in much better hotel or motel nearby. I talked to the gas station staff nearby, they got guests receiving invalid door access code all the time and came to them for help. If you want a happy trip, DON"T STAY THIS one!

Great place near Canmore!
Really enjoyed our stay here! Other than the bathtub, the suite is newly renovated, very cozy, and very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place and good views.pretty area and short drive to Canmore for food. Weak wifi.
Great room, especially for the price. Run like an Air B&B, no staff on sight, but they send you a room number and entry code by email the morning of your stay.
The bed in room 22 was as as big as could fit in the bedroom, but was slightly short for my over 6 foot tall hubby.
The only complaint I had was that the mattress was very springy and you could feel each other's slightest movements. I had to move to the couch, but it was very comfortable as well.
The toiletries were good quality and decor was lovely. The kitchen had everything you could need. Ice trays could be bigger. Fridge was a little loud, but full sized, which is great. Fantastic for self catering travellers.

Liked: Staff & service
Staff was friendly, and were helpful over the phone. The room was very cold, and you have no control over the climate (central). We asked for a space heater and they delivered it later that day. It made a huge difference.
The microwave and some kitchen items were very dirty, borderline nasty. Not safe to eat or cook with some oven/stove items.
The price was marked up greatly on the “weekend”, which it would then drop to $70 or so during the week (which would actually be more fair).
Bathrooms and room was fine. Rustic and modern feel.
