Book a Top Crescent City Motel

"The location is right on the beach! Just a spectacular view, great to walk on and popular with surfers and kite boarders. Our room was set back a bit and the building seems to block out most of the highway noise which is minimal for the night on that smaller road. There seems to be a popular restaurant at the end of the marina behind the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Check in was unusual with Zoom agent live on a screen but it was fine. Another staff was around to ask if we needed anything. I will say breakfast is really just coffee or tea and a variety of packaged sweet processed pastries that you pick up to take away from the lobby."

"We loved our room. We were on the third floor facing the ocean. We loved our view. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Redwoods. The breakfast was delicious and they even cleaned our room after one night stay. This is a great place."

"We have stayed in this lodge previously but were disappointed this time as it was not as clean as before. The location is excellent and the views from the rooms spectacular."

"Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the other hand is advertised as continental but only bagels cream cheese, bread and jam And cereal. Eventually got our own breakfast to eat in the mornings. Could Not eat bagels for eight days running"

"There appears to be weekly or monthly renters on the property. There were a few sketchy looking people hanging around the laundry area when we checked in. AC/Fan wouldn't turn on, but it wasn't that hot in the room anyway. The fan to move stagnant air around would have been nice"

"The staff was very helpful but the property was old. Even a hair dryer had to be borrowed from the front desk. For one night on the road it’s ok."

"The bathroom sink was backing up, muddy water. Called the front desk and they said they had no one on maintenance staff to address it. Offered to change rooms, but it was already later in the evening so we did."

"The place was very clean and the front seat manager was very nice. However, the place needed a little upgrade. One of the lamps was missing a light bulb and the dresser/night stand was missing handles. Our room was next to the office and sleeping was difficult due to all the noise. It almost sounded like a small gathering was going on and what I can only describe as a door bell ringing constantly I had to call the front desk to complain. It stopped immediately which we were so appreciative of."
