"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grand Hotel Majestic! After seeing the Gentlemen on Netflix I had to see it for myself. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were delightful. "I will start by saying we arrived at night, which may have impacted our opinion of the property. The property is an old castle and it presents as one, specifically at night. Lots of unused space, makes part of the property feel empty. We had some confusion around dining, and the availability of dinner service, making it a bit confusing. We were told yes to dinner service, and no by the staff at the restaurant… and ultimately had to have the front desk call to rectify the situation. In the morning, the light changed the mood. The staff were friendly and kind! Overall, it was my first time staying in an older castle, and now have a better idea of expectations. Neat experience!"

"Good value for money, free parking is great, location is good if you have a car. Hotel room was as expected, the cost of breakfast and use of Spa facilities is extra and a little bit on the expensive side (which is why we did not make use of this). The sound proofing in the rooms is not great, you can hear the noise from the corridor everytime a door is shut or people walk past the room. Beds were comfortable and the room was well maintained. Overall would recommend the hotel based on the location and price point."
