"The ambiance of the hotel was very welcoming and it was what it said, a Tudor building. It was what we wanted, Quirky. All the staff were excellent, friendly and most helpful. The only negative was that the street outside was very noisy at night but that is not the fault of the hotel as we were in the centre of Colchester. Over all it was a very positive experience. "

"I arrived at the property on 30/3/24 at around 3am as I decided not to return to London with the persons I arrived with. I was stranded. "The White Hart is a lovely hotel and pub set in the charming village of Coggeshell. We stayed bed and breakfast for 2 nights. The manageress, Nicky, and her staff were welcoming, pleasant and friendly. Our room was clean, inviting and quiet; the bed was especially comfortable, and we slept well both nights. We really enjoyed our breakfasts, there was lots of choice for both the continental style and the cooked breakfasts, the food was of good quality and plentiful. We can heartily recommend staying there."
