"We had a truly wonderful week at this beautiful villa in Portugal. The house is stunning! Elegantly designed and tastefully furnished with a real sense of comfort and style. Some of our favourite parts were the well-equipped kitchen, the enormous living room with breathtaking natural light and the outdoor pool; we actually found ourselves preferring to stay in and cook rather than go out as the house is so beautiful and welcoming that no one wanted to leave. The space is calm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. That said, there were a couple of issues that we feel are important to mention. The wooden pool deck, unfortunately, hasn’t been maintained properly and caused quite a bit of discomfort. Several of us ended up with splinters in our feet, and one day turned into a bit of a drama when my son got ten splinters—removing them was not easy and quite distressing. This area really needs some attention and oiling to make it safe for barefoot use.Despite this hiccup, the villa is truly a gem and we would love to return, especially once the pool deck has been refurbished. Thank you for a memorable stay! We are totally in love with Portugal."

"Perfect for our family group of 10 to spread out, play games, read, swim or sunbathe. Many good restaurants with authentic Portuguese food around. Owner communication is excellent. We hope to return someday!! "

"With the farm area surrounded by a big wall and gate, the property feels quiet and secure. The "farm" itself is not a busy working area and you are unaware of anything going on. The owners met us when we arrived and took the opportunities to check everything was alright when our paths crossed but otherwise we didn't see them. The swimming pool was a massive 12m x 6m, spotless and cleaned and treated regularly and was very welcome at 40C. Things to be aware of are that the villa does not have air conditioning but it does have shutters all around to keep the sun out. Additionally the WiFi was slow and there was no TV - totally welcome and not a problem in our case but it might impact some people."

"A really nice property in a great location for exploring the area. Within easy reach of Lisbon and other areas for day trips; it's about 20 minutes from Seixal ferry. Fantastic welcome from Sandra, the host. It felt like we stayed with a friend. She was so helpful when my spouse had a dental emergency - Sandra sorted us put an appointment straight away - even on a Saturday! She really goes out of her way to make your stay special without imposing on you at all. The pool area is very pretty and completely private and the house, although a little dated, is still very nice. Highly recommend."
