There’s a large car park; the food’s delicious and the staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Although the room was small and a bit dingy, we’d stay again simply because the people are so nice."

We ate an evening meal and breakfast and everything was really nice. The only think that would have topped it off would be a bar open in the evening. Would definately stay again and recommend."

"A really lovely cottage, well thought out for rental. The location is excellent for exploring the Ribble Valley and Clitheroe and is very peaceful.The kitchen is now showing its age and is over due renovations but is otherwise fine and well equipped.We did find the property too hot even with all of the radiators turned off and windows open, the underfloor heating resulted in a lack of controllability.The other minor problem was that the toilet cistern in the en-suite leaked into the toilet resulting in unpredictable, noisy water flow to refill the cistern.We would definitely stay here again."
