Holiday Inn Gloucester-Cheltenham, an IHG Hotel
4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (222)
"The overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, although the outside seating area could be cleared of used glasses more often. The staff, from reception to restaurant were always polite and helpful as was jousekeeping. We were impressed by management that on awakening after the fire alarm had been been deliberately set off three times during the night, a letter had been slipped under the guests doors apologising for the upset. The Thatch Inn
3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (215)
"The hotel is easy to find, great parking, ability to eat at the hotel and sit in a nice beer garden. If you have mobility issues make sure you request ground floor room as there are lots of stairs and long corridors. I stayed in a deluxe room which was advertised as bigger than average. Overall pleasing colour decor. Tea, coffee , water . Now to be picky - the mattresses on the single beds pushed together to represent a" king size bed " need replacing . The shower area needs to be bleached....
