"The location to the castle is 2 nd to none. A 5 minute walk is all it takes to be at the castle. We booked for Bastille Day. Spent the day walking around . We had lunch then returned to 514 , showered and changed. Returned to the castle for supper . Watched the fireworks display which was breathtaking. Fantastic location.The room was clean and equipped with fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee maker ( one pod machine and also a filter machine) Well worth a visit and great value for money."

"Im more upset with Expedia for this experience. This hotel was listed as Carcasonne and we should have done a little more homework but we were strapped for time. This hotel is located nowhere near where we wanted to be (the heart of Carcasonne). "The room was spacious and clean. We did not know about the height restriction for parking, but we found a space nearby. We loved the location - just a few minutes walk to the Cite. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but there looked to be everything you'd need. We liked that there was a TV in the lounge and also in the bedroom. This was a stopover for one night but we could have stayed much longer. The price was great value for a property with self catering facilities so close to the Cite."
