"I am struggling to find works to describe our stay. We have spent last 5 years organising business trips which ranged from 16-30+ people and this has been an absolute show stopper. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, so close to the beach and some brilliant restaurants. "Easily the most relaxing place we have ever visited - so clean and has everything you could possibly need. You will definitely need a car and thanks to the detailed documentation it’s easy to find. There’s isn’t really anywhere to walk to for drinks or food as such but it’s only a short drive to the local village. We made use of the bbq and had some lovely chilled evening watching the sunsets - magical! Perfect escape after our hectic wedding !"

"Amazing time with friends, host was really helpful and talked us through everything at the property upon arrival. Pool was heated for a reasonable charge which really helped in the early summer months. Host arranged all our travel between the airport. The shop was literally next door and allowed us to use their trolleys to move large shops to and from the property. "Spectacular views from poolside and villa balcony. Well equipped kitchen not lacking for anything. Spacious lounge and dining area. The air conditioning unit probably needs a service in this room. Bedrooms were excellent sized beds and comfy firm matresses. Airconditioning was perfect. Pool was a great size and always quiet and the views towards the sea were spectacular. Behind the house is a dramatic mountain backdrop."

"Villa Tamos is a wonderful, well-equipped, spacious villa in a beautiful setting and we absolutely loved our time there. The pool is as perfect as the view and grounds and Stuart and Lorraine were super-helpful hosts. The villa is well located for exploring Crete and the restaurants/bars/shops of Almyrida are only ten minutes drive away. There is a long unmade track to the property, which needs driving with care, but it's well worth it, and we hope to return one day! Thank you for everything....

"The villa is amazing. All amenities included, except WiFi. There is an odd request for £50 for this after we booked. The WiFi doesn’t reach upstairs. The pool and gardens are regularly maintained and are beautiful. The view is stunning. It’s an out of the way location, so peaceful but you need a car. Many beaches a short drive away. The villa is well managed and any requests were dealt with immediately. Definitely recommend a stay here for a peaceful holiday."

"Overall loved the place. There were a few niggles like the garden lights being intentionally turned off detracting from the atmosphere, penny-pinching in the extreme. Not being able to leave the washing machine or dishwasher on when going out because the electricity fob was locked to the door key, very patronising, especially considering the money paid for rental.the location was excellent and the outside ameneties great. "We had the most amazing holiday in Almyrida. Villa Iannis was beautiful and the restaurants served great food. We particularly liked Psaros and Francois. The villa was spotless, the pool was bigger than we anticipated and Jan was so kind, helpful and just very lovely. We will be back! The only issue for us was the layout. You can’t see the pool from the villa and there were a lot of steps but our children are 11 and 14 so it was fine for us. Thank you Jan, Dimitra and the Almyrida team ❤️😊"

"House was clean with breathtaking views as advertised! Was not prepared for steep hill access to villa. Took a few trips to be comfortable with the drive; recommend a SUB rental.Communication with owner and house manager was on point. Owner provided detailed directions, as per location and surrounding areas. However, still have to be careful with GPS directions as it can take you areas that are not suitable for tourist driving. We had a wonderful family trip, and would recommend Villa Cassandra!"
