"This was a lovely place that suited our family well. There was plenty of room for four of us. I liked the location, very walkable. Make sure to insist on instructions for getting in the building. We didn’t know which number to ring and were waiting in the rain outside. We got in because a guitar was coming out and he directed us to the right room and floor to check in. I never received an email with this information. After check in, everything was fine. "

"Stayed only one night before a cruise. Good location next to the main station and buses. Amazing old style lift. Room was great and loved the hanging hot air balloons. Shower was amazing and bed was comfy after a long day travelling and sightseeing. Even though it seems close we got a cab to the cruise terminal organised by reception when we checked out, it arrived within 2 minutes and took us straight to luggage drop off which was the best choice."

"This is a beautiful hotel very close to the train station. Beautiful old marble, wood and iron in the grand entry. They really made the atrium and breakfast area into something special. There are beautiful wood parquet floors in the rooms. Plenty of towels, robes, slippers provided. Wonderful tea/coffee service set up in the rooms. Amazing breakfast, worth the money. Old but well kept. "
