"The property was a nice property, but there was a problem with parking. I had no communication until 30 minutes before check-in even though I tried to contact the host numerous times and had Expedia tried to contact them and couldn’t get a hold of him. There is no air-conditioning which sucked because it was hot. All they have is fans and the shower is so tiny. That is very hard to shower, but it’s in a great location."

"For the price this property is fine. I would describe it as an elevated Motel. Room was clean and location was good for what I needed. There was nothing that was bad about the place and nothing that was great. Again, price was right."

"Great old-fashioned property to stay at but the room was renovated. You can tell it was very clean inside even the bathroom was spotless. The only thing I would note is that the TV wasn't working that well but it could have been just that unit, I don't know. I had a great experience there overall and the Waffle Spot, one of the restaurants on location, was delicious"

"The Lafayette is a beautiful property. We were after a great weekend getaway, and that's exactly what we got. We booked a poolside room, hoping to lounge Sunday by the pool. Unfortunately, there was a guest DJ, and a few smart ladies beat us to the lounges by the time we got up at 7:45am :) We were still able to enjoy a great breakfast and a few cocktails and dangle our feet in. Around 2pm we were able to score lounge chairs, so it worked out. I will say there are endless things to do at the property (both the restaurant and the game bar were great). The highlights of the trip were taking in the decor and the best Pimms cup I've ever had served in the lounge. All in all, I will continue to recommend it for a weekend getaway."

"Thank you, Albert, for going above and beyond! I want to give a special shout-out to Albert for providing some of the warmest and most genuine customer service I’ve experienced during a hotel stay. He went out of his way to make sure all of my needs were taken care of, including assisting me with toiletries and even offering to help with my luggage. He also made sure my upgrade experience was smooth and that I was comfortable. You can truly tell when someone takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about their guests. His hospitality and attention to detail really stood out, especially during a late-night check-in. Thank you, Albert, for making my stay start off on such a great note. Management should definitely know what an asset you are to the team!"
