is the only thing nice. The rooms were really rough. The curtains were stained and missing part of them, the bathroom door did not open or close, the shower was extremely cold water only. The containers for shampoo and conditioner, etc.. were empty but placed up on the counter to make it look like they were replaced. The tv wouldn’t work in the room. The hot tub was luke warm, the pool had more outside people then the customers paying for the hotel who should have...

"This newly remodeled hotel is a great option for families. It had a nice swimming pool with poolside rooms, laundry and a Diner attatched to the hotel with breakfast in the mornings. I am very impressed. There are some items on the surface that need a little work- but overall, I would definitely come back. This property is great and affordable- very impressed!!!"

"This place is amazing. I’ve never stayed in a place quite like this. I got one of the cottage themed rooms and it was amazing. It was extremely comfortable (except for the pillows but it’s rare to get good pillows in a hotel). It was so spacious it felt like the room kept going. The room I booked had a fireplace which helped my wife stay warm even though I was hot and she was cold. The shower had good room and pressure. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and informative. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to Des Moines but if I do I’m staying here no questions ask. In fact I’m going to find out if Stoney Creek has other places. I loved this place. "
