Room was wonderful. Breakfast was ok. Did not have many interactions with staff besides checking in and checking out. Parking was very good. Location excellent for getting into downtown Des Moines for the theater. Outback across the parking lot was a plus for us!

I really enjoyed my stay! This was my first time in Ankeny, IA. My room was very clean and smelled so nice! I looked forward to walking into the room every time I went out. Breakfast was fine for me and had adequate options. The breakfast room was clean and well organized. There was a football game on the TV in the lobby and I had fun watching with the friendly female receptionist who was a fan of one of the teams. I will definitely plan to stay here on future trips if the price remains competitive.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast service area was very well designed and worked much better than most. The breakfast was excellent. Our only complaint was that apparently someone in an adjoining room was smoking in their bathroom with the vent fan. In any event, cigarette was coming into our bathroom. After I turned on our vent fan, the smoke was expelled, and everything smelled clear again in a short time.
