This is an ideal time for enjoying the parks and trails, such as those around Saylorville Lake, without the intense heat of summer. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, making it easier to enjoy local attractions.Early autumn also offers agreeable weather, with temperatures usually between 10°C and 20°C, and the region's foliage begins to display lovely colours. It's a great time for outdoor pursuits like cycling on the Neal Smith Trail or visiting local orchards. The cooler, drier air makes for comfortable sightseeing and outdoor dining experiences.
