"The hotel was great and in an almost perfect location I like it a lot I would definitely stay again .. didn’t give it a full five stars because they weren’t so big on changing the sheets and towels and the WiFi was no bueno for streaming movies or music "

A good starting point for a visit is the Magellan Cross with the adjacent Oratory worth a look. The Museum is close by and worth seeing as well as the San Pedro fort which is quite historical. We took a tour by car for 3500 pesos

Liked metered white taxis, very reasonably priced. Can easily visit multiple tourist sites e.g. fort, museum, cathedral in a morning. Do independently as acess is either free or minimal whereas booked tours extremely expensive compared to elsewhere .

I would definitely recommend the whale shark excursion as well as if you like this kind of stuff the canyonoing excursion which was the best part of the trip for me.

It's a typical big Asian city with an underdeveloped transportation system. There are no freeways or rail system. As usual, the downtown area is much more developed than the outlying areas in which the poverty is much more pronounced.

The construction at Fuente Osmenia took forever to finish. It is getting to be highly urbanized and I hope that road constructions should be given highest priority to ease traveling around the city!

I still like Cebu City however the infrastructure ( roads, utilities and trash disposal) is severely lacking especially in light of all the new construction projects

Cebu as a hole is an awesome place great community, great events, great venues, highly highly recommend.
"Probably one of the better stays just outside the periphery of IT PARK (which is just a quick 7 minute walk to the mall). I stayed for 6 days in one of the lower tier suites (after looking at the other ones) and suffice it to say these mini studio apartments served me well for my stay. The hidden amenity is that this Condo is part of a small entertainment enclave. The front courtyard houses several mid-fine dining restaurants along with a world class Napoli Pizza Joint, Coffee spot, Korean Grocery Store and an outdoor bar area complete with live music on some nights. It doesn’t get rowdy but there is sufficient entertainment if you can’t bring yourself to Mango Street again. The staff are quick to smile and at your service. The street is one of the main arteries in the city and you can have your pick of ankas, taxi, bus or grab as your mode of travel right at your door. A little bit of a longer walk to the other bigger AYALA mall though. Hop on a motorcycle taxi to get there, otherwise you’ll be stuck in traffic."
"Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very nice. Breakfast at Cafe was good with, again, friendly and helpful staff. Location was good and liked being part of Robinsons Mall. Will choose this hotel again if I return to Cebu."
