There is plenty of parking and amenities at the b&b are fantastic. The rooms have everything you need and there are also shared areas to have brew and chat next to a fire. There was no welcome gift as promised by Hotels.com and there was a bit of a mix up in that although I had already paid the hotel insisted I pay again, the £300 was refunded during my stay as it was the hotels mistake."

"There was a problem with the shower it was stone cold. Robin deducted some money from my bill as a good will gester. Before we checked out a plumber was there to fix the fault for the next guest . These things happen and it hasn't put me off staying again . Food was fab room was clean and service was excellent. Definitely recommend. And will stay again."

"I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. "Great hotel. Swimming facilities lovely. Grounds immaculate and even a wee play park for kids. Only thing that spoilt things slightly was the service in the Antler bar. Not enough staff on so service was slow. We ordered food just after 5pm and had to go and check where it was at 6.10pm. They said there was a problem with the printer and they had lost our order. Not ideal with a starving 3 year old but they did their best to rectify it, complimentary drinks and rushed the order through once brought to their attention. Staff polite and friendly, just not enough of them and the ones that were working were slow. Overall a great stay, would definitely return. "
