"The staff were terrific and good outstanding!"

"Clean room, 200 year old hotel but rooms renovated in 2018. Very helpful, accommodating staff, excellent food."

"We had a lovely stay at the Old Schoolhouse. Our room and bathroom were spacious. Our hosts had homemade treats for us each day (an oatmeal raisin cookie our first day and a piece of spice cake the next). Our breakfast was at a large table with the other guests. We loved talking to them, several of whom were walking the length of Hadrian's wall. The breakfast itself was delicious and generous. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Breakfast was brilliant. Staff was wonderful. Location top notch. "

"Nice little place with everything you need! Meals in the pub are excellent and good value. "

"Very clean and well equipped apartment with exceptionally helpful hosts. Dinner in the pub next door was delicious too."
