"Golf course was in good condition, spa and pool was good. Staff were helpful and hotel was clean but looking a bit rundown."

"We had a fantastic stay! Our “standard double” room was better than expected, comfortable bed, spacious, great bath and good water pressure in shower. The choice and quality of food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent, well priced and very tasty. Perhaps the stand out feature of the Beaumont is the staff, without exception..their friendliness and attention leant to a welcoming and relaxed stay."

"Lovely modern clean rooms. Our room also had a jacuzzi bath, which was very welcome after long walks! Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you, checking each day if you needed anything topping up in your room. Breakfasts were excellent and we also made use of the packed up lunch. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return."

"Really nice location with views of North Tyne. A good base to walk from or explore further afield. All staff were very helpful and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast."

"Excellent food& good selection of local beer. Staff were brilliant , very helpful & friendly. Only downside is the room was a little dated, but clean & comfortable. We do intend to return."
