"The staff was incredible. They ensured we had a booking for our bus the next morning and dropped us off at the bus location after breakfast. Breakfast was quite extravagant with very beautiful views. The roof top pool wasn’t very fancy but had a great view and was everything you could need. "

"The overall area of the guesthouse is quite large, they have two dining areas (though only one was used) and a small manmade pond with seating area around it. Lots of plants and greenary, so we were excited to get to our room thinking it would be warm and welcoming as well... which it wasn't really unfortunately. To be fair, it's a good sized room for Vietnam standards, however felt a bit cold and we couldn't seem to get the musty smell away and sometimes dampness in our clothes.
But not all...
"Good area, rooms were dirty and they play a very load speaker outside the hotel late at night and early morning easily heard making it very hard to sleep"
"The hotel was super clean and the location was perfect! Just right in the middle of downtown close to everything you need!. The owner of the hotel Minh was really sweet and got me everything I need, there is a restaurant in the hotel as well!"
"Was a great stay. Breakfast on the street is great, rooms spacious and in a cave, very cool. The only resort that I stayed in Vietnam that had hot water.
The staff very welcoming and extremely helpful.
Shame about the monster resort getting built in front, looking at cranes and building work.

"Jenny nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de chaleur et de gentillesse. L'hôtel est bien situé, au bord du lac. Malheureusement, les abords de ce lac sont en travaux. D'ailleurs, l'ancienne plage est totalement en travaux également... Construction de nouveaux bâtiments sur du terrain gagnés sur la mer.
Enfin cela n'a absolument pas gâché notre séjour. L'hôtel est proche du centre-ville, d'une plage charmante et les activités touristiques sont incontournables. Très bons conseils grâce à Jenny. "

"Spent 2 days with family at hotel. Would definitely recommend. Quick ride to boat terminal. Room was clean. Pool was great for the kids. The 2 ladies, Diem Phuong and Duong Hue , were of great help. Some staff can speak English and Mandarin. Hope you enjoy as much as my family did. Only thing to keep in mind that buffet breakfast hours are different from weekdays to weekends. "
"Many of the hotels in the area are old as this small bustling town of 12k people see 10k-20k tourists in the summer months per day.
This hotel had great location, friendly staff, great breakfast, and Cat Ba Ventures make it very convenient for me book tours around the area, as well as transportation to/from Hanoi."
"Wonderful resort with breathtaking view from our room. Room is very clean, nice and comfortable. The staffs are very attentive, polite and helpful. Got our breakfast coffee made by Mr. Huy Thắng, very appreciate with the care by the staffs here. We love here so much that we extended our stay for another 2 days. The only thing need to be improved is the restaurant here is a little pricey for dinner and didn’t have much choices, had to go out for dinner. Other than that, we are really love this resort. Will come back again soon."
