Was a great stay. Breakfast on the street is great, rooms spacious and in a cave, very cool. The only resort that I stayed in Vietnam that had hot water. The staff very welcoming and extremely helpful. Shame about the monster resort getting built in front, looking at cranes and building work.

We loved our stay at Roza Palace. The cave interior was so unique and all the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice having a simple breakfast in the morning with fresh made to order eggs. I loved that the location was a few minutes walk from the busier areas so it was quiet and peaceful to come back to. Id stay here again if in the area.

Not luxury as in the name, but the place is great located, off the bars and traffic. The place need some refreshments, but overall just average. Breakfast was crap. Staff though was friendly and helpful, especially the lady in the frontdesk, very cheerful. My room was just above the reception and entry to hotel, so it was some noise going around... but was not too much of disturbance.

A little bit of heaven

Absolutely amazing hotel nestled into the rocks. Room clean and airy. Staff excellent and so helpful. Nice location close to shops with shuttles outside to take you around. Nice pool with bar. Great views. Our room had its own private courtyard, a great little sun spot.

Reception staff very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms ok, pool ok, breakfast fast ok, but the staff overall were fantastic. We left with gifts, smiles and hugs. Definitely recommend this hotel because of the location, quality and the brilliant people who work there. Thank you 😊

Cat Ba is a resort town with lots of mid-range restaurants and markets selling the same thins. We had hoped to bicycle more but it is very hilly and the bicycles available were not up to the task. With non-beach water, there isn’t that much to do. Roza Palace, is a nice hotel with friendly staff.

Nice looking hotel with flaws in a bad spot

The hotel is beautiful although the breakfast was really bad and the coffee pretty awful (instant coffee). We didn't even eat dinner there due to how bad the breakfast was. The staff were really nice and talkative though but only two of the lobby guys could speak decent English. There was no hot water coming from the focet in the bathroom sink and there is no shower curtain or anything so the entire floor got totally soaked and took a long time to dry up. One good thing is that they have smart TV's so you can watch Netflix or Amazon prime if you want. The view is pretty terrible because of the massive construction project going on Infront the entire main tourist street. A good thing is that its walking distance to the beach but on the other hand its farthest away from most of the popular restaurants and bars.

Sin más. La habitación, pese a su lujo aparente, tenía un importante olor a humedad y me encontré insectos pequeños corriendo por las paredes y en el baño. La oferta alrededor del hotel es escasa. El único punto positivo es que fueron muy eficaces gestionándome un transporte de la isla a tierra firme para que pudiera salir antes de que llegara el monzón.
