"We are from San Diego and have stayed here a few times as a staycation, we really love it as a family with 2 kids. In addition to the beautiful and easy beach access, there are so many activities to do ant the resort…and, Dexter, the activities manager, is the kindest, most fun, and genuine person . We love the seapointe. "

"I knew the hotel was close to the highway but wasn’t prepared for how loud the road noise was even in the room with the doors closed. We were told no other rooms were available, (and discovered our room phone was non-functional when trying to call the office). We also had loud neighbors with poor soundproofing between the rooms and a large group hanging out loudly in the courtyard at midnight. So, bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Book a pool view room as those are set further back from the highway. My kid enjoyed the pool, and the Windmill Food Hall was convenient next door. "

"Rooms are great for families with young children. The hotel stay along with park visit is very convenient and there are so many other activities that are provided by the resort staff. Ask any of the friendly staff about the activities and challenges that kids can take part in."

"We stayed over Easter weekend. The room above us was constantly making noise and kids were running around, moving furniture and jumping off the bed for long periods of time. Called the front desk to ask if they could send someone to speak to them and were told they could send someone as a courtesy but couldn’t do anything unless it was between 10pm-7am as those were the quiet hours. If they sent someone to talk to them it didn’t solve anything. Waited until 10pm on both nights to have them finally send security to the room and it did not work. Noise finally stopped around 11:30 each night. I asked to be moved and were told no rooms were available. However, Hotels.com had rooms available to book each night so not sure how they were sold out. Will not be staying at this location again. "

"The property definitely felt pet friendly, saw designated outdoor area for the pets. As soon as I checked in, was asked if I had any pets. Very welcoming"

"It was really an okay hotel, nothing fancy. But great value for the price. We booked a suite with 1 king bed and a bunk bed. It had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Very impressed with the space. Room was facing the highway, so was really noisy. But we were tired from the long day at the Legoland park, so did not mind. Also rooms are a bit outdated, but everything worked and was clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast had nice variety. Advice- try to wake up early to breakfast. It gets crazy crowded after 8am on weekends. Overall- good value for the price!"
