Amazing hotel , spacious rooms ,friendly staff , lots of space and relaxing areas for you to sit down and for your children to play . Next to a shopping center , couldn't have asked for a better experience. Oh and it was less than 10 min from Legoland

The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the outlets and plenty of restaurants. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of our room was disappointing. There was sand throughout the floor, and we found hair in both the sink and shower. This was not the level of cleanliness I would expect from a Marriott hotel. Given the brand’s reputation, I expected much better.

The hotel was somewhat disappointing in that it was shown to be a Marriott Bonvoy so I assumed it would be more like a typical Marriott. I was shocked that it was an older two story motel with all rooms opening to an outside hallway. Although the room was basic and decently nice having been recently redone there were no suitcase-luggage holders and no place to put your bag except on the floor which is extremely awkward and hard to use. When I asked for a luggage rack I was told they had been discarded and not replaced. The pool was attractively shaped and heated. The breakfast attempted to be nice but the day we tried it they seemed to be running out of many of the items being served.

Cool place to stay had a cool full food Hall attached to it the room when we got there was not clean. I asked them to clean it several times they never really did. The floor was filthy with hair on it. There was hair in the sink and hair in the shower good location.

Our stay was to satisfaction, we enjoyed the pool and the food hall. Our room was not that clean especially the floors we had food and dirt all around and the showers shampoo and soap were empty. Very convenient for legoland and beach since close by.

The room was clean but the floor was dirty as if it hadn’t been swept. When we walked in the sliding room on the first floor was fully opened. It was under construction during the time of our stay. That might have been the issue. Maybe understaffed.

I had a reservation through Expedia for myself and three children. Upon arrival, I was told they were fully booked and refused to accept my reservation because it was third-party. I was embarrassed and scared, especially since it was late and I had my children there. The staff was unprofessional and disrespectful, and the place was not clean either.

I booked through Expedia because my previous booking through Expedia at the Holday inn express was cancelled without my knowledge. I showed up and the gentleman at the desk said they did not have a room! That Expedia sells rooms they do not have. Expedia still charged me for the room and I can’t figure out how to get my money back.

I loved our stay at the Carlsbad by the sea Hotel. My focus was the pool and jacuzzi. Both were warm, clean and safe. We were in Room #222 but the walk to the pool area was quick. Plenty of pool-side towelsBreakfast was excellent and well managed. Lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had been recently renovated and the king bed was so comfortable!

Las habitaciones y el Hotel están remodelandos, muy limpios y en buenas condiciones, el personal es muy amable. Fue la segunda vez que nos hospedamos y lo recomendaría.
