Bed and Breakfast in Caprese Michelangelo

"Pros: From the first night it felt like home away from home. The kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of cookware, glasses, and dishware. The pool was wonderful, though too cold to get into because it was too early in the season. The view from the pool was indescribable! We had two dinners prepared for us. I would highly recommend at least one dinner being prepared. The food was better than the restaurants we dined at. The freshness could be tasted. Our first night we made our own simple pasta dish. We used some of Linda’s herbs in that meal after grabbing essentials from Gala, one of the local grocery stores. The villa is very centrally located and we were able to to see so much of the Toscana Hills. Cons: Not suitable for mobility impaired individuals. The many stairs were not as horrible as not having a lavatory on the first floor when getting back from a day of site-seeing.I would happily rent again. I also would recommend this villa to persons I know that are interested in a very large villa with plenty of bedroom space and a view that is awe-inspiring!"

"What a great place! Quiet rooms and a wonderful park nearby. It has a fine number of restaurants very close. I would stay here again definitely"

"This property met all our needs for a one night stay. It is conveniently located near the train station and near the old town area. The people we encountered were friendly and helpful. The breakfast choices were plentiful and the breakfast area on the rooftop patio was beautiful. The only negative was that the walks of the room were thin and we could hear neighbors quite a bit. "

"The property is close-by the Arezzo Train Station, and near to all of the shopping, dining and siteseeing destinations. I believe there is some promotions stating “Romantic,” which I wouldn’t classify the Vogue as that. Also, they have large rooms but the mattresses on the beds were sub-standard. We stayed two different times and the rooms were nearly identical, including the type of mattress on the beds."

Not only are his accommodations beautiful, comfortable and historic, but he was the visionary, renovator, chef, and most delightful tour guide we could have hoped for! Be sure to take a cooking class and an area tour with Stefano. He makes a trip to Tuscany extraordinary!"

"The room was very cold, and despite raising this with staff, I was initially told that the heating was functioning correctly. After complaining again, the heating was eventually turned on, which was appreciated; however, the unit was extremely loud and could not be used throughout the evening. The walls are also very thin, and noise from neighbouring rooms is easily heard. The room did not include any tea or coffee facilities, which I would consider a basic expectation for a four-star hotel. I also requested an iron but was informed that one was not available and that I would need to pay €5 for a shirt to be ironed instead. On a positive note, the breakfast was of good quality and the staff were very friendly. However, I would choose to stay at a different hotel on my next visit."
