Great stay
We had a great stay near the cruise port just before a cruise. Comfortable beds, nice views and tasty food in the restaurant on site. Friendly staff!

Double booked!
They had somehow double booked my room and so I was sent to a sister hotel - onyx I don’t really think the Onyx is of the same calibre as the harbour bridge. A bit downtrodden and in need of a revamp. Windows dirty/scratched, air con either not working or just awkward to switch on/off, door didn’t lock, so my gripe isn’t really with the harbour bridge but rather with the downgrade I was given owing to a double booking

The suite was large and very comfortable. We had a balcony to sit out and enjoy the afternoon sun. Breakfast was very good. The main issue was lack of Wi-Fi

Difficult to access after 8pm. Gated access closes at 8pm and then you need an Uber or taxi to get to the premises. Bathroom had natural light spill into bedroom which was not great. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was very nice.

The room was not clean. There was a horrible smell of some kind of strong perfume that had been used to try to cover up the odor of cigarette smoke, and who knows what else, which pervaded the room. The cigarette smoke would’ve been easier to tolerate than the sickening perfume. Opening the windows to try to mitigate resulted in so much street noise that you could not sleep.

Although the view from our window was unbelievable the room itself although spacious was very tired. The laminate on the cupboards and desk was peeling and the carpet needed replacing. The location was great - only a 15 min (max) walk to the Waterfront or the hop on hop off bus. However the canal gate closed at 8pm so getting back from the Waterfront and dinner meant catching a cab or Uber. The WIFI was sketchy at best in the dining area and reception but NON-existent in our room. The lock on our door was a problem and at least twice we needed staff to use a key to let us in and had at least 6 sets of swipe cards produced over a 7 day stay. The staff did their best to alleviate our concerns. The breakfast was good and the staff there were exceedingly attentive which was great.

Great place to stay, great staff!
The hotel was great, lovely location right on the canal. The breakfast was included which was nice and the staff were all lovely. The staff made suggestions about what we should do and places to avoid, especially at night. We felt very safe on the hotel grounds and felt safe getting our room cleaned, oppose to other experiences in other hotels in Cape Town. I can’t express enough how nice the staff were, especially one of the managers a tall gentleman who always wore a suit. Thank you for making this portion of our trip phenomenal!

our room was amazing and really comfortable for the days that we stayed. unfortunately the washing powder on the sheets gave me and allergic reaction so sleep wasn’t as comfortable as i would have liked it to be. all in all good location for exploring all of capetown

Overall a pleasant stay. Our first room was not quite up to our cleanliness standards, it seemed like maybe it sat vacant for a while before we got there. We asked for another room and it was good. Staff was helpful, hotel is in a convenient and safe place. Breakfast each morning was nice. As first time travelers to Cape Town, I’d stay here again in the future.

Perfect stay
Perfect place to stay if you’re about to explore Cape Town. Cozy but modern place with a nice restaurant. Only a 20 minute drive home to the international airport. Walking distance to the Waterfront. We were very happy with our stay :)

The room was very clean and the hotel well located (15min walk from the V&A). Breakfast was super good and all personnel I met were very kind and professional. The only thing that could be improved is the bathroom. I appreciate that it is accessible with handle bars etc., but the fact that it has no glass, curtain, wall or any division with the rest of the bathroom meant that every shower would flood everything. Other than that, a very nice choice of hotel in Cape Town.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, safe and staffed by friendly, efficient people. The location was a short walk to the V&A Waterfront. My only comment would be that a better understanding of the walk to V&A Waterfront (which includes a locking gate) would be useful, and perhaps some signage.

The staff at Harbour Bridge Hotel and Suites were personable and friendly. The room was clean and the hotel was convenient to tourist sites. I was especially impressed by how caring the staff were. The managers personally introduced themselves to me to help ensure that my proposal to my partner went as smoothly and romantically as possible. I unfortunately got sick on my trip, the restaurant staff expressed concern and were thoughtful. They aided in my comfort and helped to ensure a speedy recovery. It seemed as if all the staff members recalled us by name. I have never experienced a hotel that cared so much and made our stay feel at home.

Great breakfast buffé and comfort beds. The staff were friendly and service minded. Safe and nice area. A pleasent and not too long walk to V&A waterfront by the canals. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Cape Town.

Great location not far from V and A Waterfront. Complimentary parking was an added bonus. Loved this clean, modern facility. Great breakfast. Some better instructions for the laundry machine are in order. No one knew where the tap was for the machine, neither did housekeeping. We all thought the machine was actually broken. We eventually found the tap through trial and error. We also had to google instructions for the machine as we could not get it open at times due to child locks.
