The room itself was nice and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Good heating and the toilet was also recently renovated. The only problems were: 1. Motel does not provide room cleaning service everyday. They just replace the rubbish bag and replenish the towels/toiletries. 2. If you leave early morning or arrive late night, it would be pitch dark outside as the lights are on timer and go off early.

This is the third time we have stayed here, and we will keep coming back as it is always spotlessly clean, and so quiet. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the staff always willing to answer any questions.

Our room had the basic kitchen motel amenities. The room was clean, the staff friendly and our parking in front of our room. The victorian buildings were well restored. We couldn't get a ticket to see the blue pinguins at night but we saw a few including young ones during the day inside the research centre area.

We were pleased to be located at the rear of the complex so didn’t hear traffic noise. The suite was situated nicely and clean and the beds were comfortable. Was especially happy to be welcomed by a cat, not sure if it’s part of the complex or neighbour but was a delightful surprise, just want to know its name. Only there for a night so only interaction with staff was check-in and the person was friendly. Kitchen is small but has the basic supplies to be able to prepare a simple meal.
