Lovely clean unit. The hot tub was a great addition especially as we were the only ones there. You can see areas that need maintenance. The breakfast was great and plenty of it.

Quaint cottages in gorgeous location near fur seal colony, breathtaking views and charming neighbourhood. The host was friendly, accomodating, we really enjoyed the use of the hot tub and breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here.

Omau Settlers Lodge was a wonderful discovery Recommended by another property in Tauranga Bay, we were blown away by the hospitality of Pam (the owner ) Great lodging , fabulous breakfasts included in rate, and proximity to Cape Foulwind and the seal colony made it even better . So glad we chose this resort over staying in Westport . Highly recommend this lodging

A beautiful place with a great owner. We had one night stay on our trip through South Island, but it feels like at home, the place is peaceful and quiet, the little detailed deco in the room is unique and home feeling. Breakfast room is such a great idea to meet with the people who staying there. Nice scenic walks nearby, certainly will stay again next time back to the area.

Five star from start to finish. Pamela was an excellent hostess. Location was beautiful and right on the walking track. Great food at the restaurant next door. Highly recommended!!!

Lovely stay at the cape
Beautiful room in a great location close to Cape Foulwind. Good restaurant/bar across the road. Coastal walkway and lighthouse just down the road. Absolutely walk the trail, fabulous views. Enjoyed the hot tub. Nice breakfast in the morning. Lots of nice touches in the room.

The place to Stay
This is a small, out-of-town hotel yet it had amenities which we haven't had in many big city hotels. We got a friendly greeting from the owner when we checked in. There was fresh milk in the fridge, more than enough soaps and conditioners in the bathroom and also a night light in the bathroom. For anyone travelling in this area, this is the place to stay.

Lovely, spacious Tom felt very luxurious. Enjoyed star-gazing from the hot tub which was just steps away from our room, but felt like it was in a secluded oasis. Breakfast room was awesome.

Great accommodation at Cape Foulwind, clean and so comfortable. After a long drive it was lovely to walk into a room that was warm. Thank you for the upgrade to delux studio so we could cook dinner. Highly recommended.

We liked location and style of rooms. A very good breakfast was supplied. We liked individual apartment feel and small number of rooms. Cons: Bed was bouncy. No coffee plunger in room. No herbal teas. TV didn't work (suspect faulty aerial)

We stayed 1 night, the room was clean & comfortable, unfortunately the weather was bad, so didn’t get to explore the motel’s hot tub. We did have a great night at the pub across the road, with the weather so bad, it was nice to go there for drinks and a lovely meal.

Great west coast experience
Really well thought out units, nice bathrooms. Nice outdoor space and Star Tavern just a stones throw down the road. Lovely inn keepers, good breakfast.
